Prioritize Your Health
Choose to prioritize your health now rather than later.
Your body, mind, and spirit are desperately trying to communicate with you. Don’t procrastinate your wellbeing. Tune into your deepest needs.
You may have been ignoring those messages for weeks, months, years, decades even. Maybe you’re in denial. Maybe you’re hoping that things will just get better on their own. Maybe you’re finding creative ways to justify not taking whatever action towards what you know you need.
You can procrastinate, deny, ignore, distract, numb, avoid, and escape for a long time… until you just can’t anymore. Everyone has a breaking point. I can tell you from experience that reaching that breaking point is not fun.
I may not know you personally, but I care about you as a fellow human being. And let me tell you, you are worth it. You are worth whatever time, money, and effort you need to feel better. Your health and happiness are worth prioritizing!
Choose to tune into those subtle sensations. Listen to the messages instead of ignoring them. You have permission to do what you know you need to do before you reach that breaking point of pain and suffering. What are you denying yourself?
Allow yourself to surrender into the process of exploring whatever it is that you know you need deep down. Consciously choose to stop procrastinating your health and happiness. You are so worth it.
Maintain a movement habit that is sustainable in your life, whatever that looks like for you. Eat foods that nourish your body and support your entire being.
Don’t wait to prioritize your health. It is never too late; you can take the first step in the right direction at any time. You are enough and you are worth it.
Every little bit of healthy intention counts, adds up, and multiplies in time. Try making one small change at a time, and don’t give up. Healthy habits breed more healthy habits.

We indeed need a holistic approach to our health. Fixing one part and not the other does not lead to good results. But, unless we make a priority out of it, it will not work.
And, unfortunately, hitting rock bottom is sometimes not enough as a wake up call. One can always go deeper in my experience.
This is so true. It’s all about perspective. Everyone’s rock bottom varies depending on how much pain we’re willing to tolerate. We are resilient and can tolerate so much pain as it becomes our new normal. When the experience deepens, it makes the wake up call even louder and more difficult to ignore. Thank you for sharing!
