What we’re being called do is not to be lazy anymore, not to be complacent. We have to review the way things have been done, because it can’t be done like this anymore. It just can’t. We can make a new normal, and now is the time.

Laziness and complacency are not good excuses. We can do so much better than that. By leading by example, we have the opportunity to create a new normal in our lives and in others’ lives.

We can’t just be a taking world. We can’t just live in that consumer disposable mindset, because people are not disposable. Our world is not disposable.

This is so true. We need to care more about our footprint, as individual households, as a community, and as a society.
